Human Resource Administrator
Human resources administrators run an organization's human resources department. Responsible for recruiting, screening, interviewing and placing workers, handling employee relations, benefits, and coordinating the administrative functions of an organization. They oversee specialists in their duties; consult with executives on strategic planning, and link a company's management with its employees.
Organizing and maintaining personnel records.
Updating internal HR databases.
Preparing HR documents.
Liaise with external partners, like insurance vendors, and ensure legal compliance.
Answer employees queries about HR-related issues.
Assist payroll department by providing relevant employee information. (e.g. leaves of absence, sick days and work schedules)
Arrange travel accommodations and process expense forms.
Participate in HR projects. (e.g. help organize a job fair event)
Create regular reports and presentations on HR metrics. (e.g. turnover rates)
Create and implement effective onboarding plans.
Operate training and development programs.
Support the management of disciplinary and grievance issues.
Proven work experience as an HR Administrator, HR Administrative Assistant or relevant role.
Computer literacy. (Google workspace, MS Office applications, in particular)
Excellent organizational skills, with an ability to prioritize important projects.
Strong phone, email and in-person communication skills.
Basic knowledge of Human Resources or relevant fields.
Experience with HR software, like HRIS or HRMS is an advantage.
